[Crazy Week!]

This week begins a CRAZY week! Yesterday I had orientation for my job ALL day long from 8:30am till 4pm. It was a productive day but LONG and I could barely stay awake. Now I need to focus on my physical, drug screening & signing up for CPR class ASAP so I can start going to my clients home. School starts next week on the 18th. I'll be in school 4 days a week & life's gonna be crazy & busy but definately rewarding and will keep me out of trouble :D I still need to get my immunization records for that & the doctor hasen't called me back & its been DAYS. TIME TO CALL AGAIN! I'm also working on getting back into singing & have been tuning my rusty voice! Mike Dailey is keeping me in line!! Hopefully one of these days I can sing at an open mic with Mike. What fun that would be! On Sunday, we are heading to the Shedd Aquarium downtown with Mike & his 2 girls Annabelle & Mere and Janelle is coming along too with Olivia & Don! Should be a great time! Admission is FREE :D [can't beat that!] & Payton has never been to the Shedd & LOVES fishie's! Today its snowing crazy & there is a weather advisory. Time to stay in & stay warm! Not much new to say...life has been good and calm..no drama in 2O11.

[January 2O11} *A Fresh Start*

Well, Its finally 2O11. A new year, a fresh start. 2O1O was a rough & crazy year for us. In July, I filed for divorce and we are STILL in the process of finalizing that after 6 months of fighting over absolutely nothing. Payton turned one in September 2O1O; time flys way too quickly. She is talking up a storm and very good at using her please's & thank you's. I have just gotten a new job working with children w/ disabilities & am still continuing working towards my Nursing degree. I will have my CNA by March & life is starting to really look up since July & the divorce although somedays can be rough. In 2O1O we had to put our favorite family hound dog Bear to rest :( He was just struggling way too much with walking and wasen't able to eat. It was sad but things have went back to normal since then. Mom is still unemployed, Dad is doing VERY well at work. Thank God for blessings. Kevin is playing basketball this year again and we have been going to all the games. He is doing very well and has been working his butt off as usual! Christmas was very laid back this year, we had crazy Charmaine & Lill with us. Great Aunt Rose stayed in Oak Lawn & Thanksgiving was the same way. Everyone is healthy & happy as we are starting the new year & hoping this lasts the entire year and brings nothing but good news & the divorce being finalized. In May of 2O1O I lost a great friend of mine...Christopher Donald Ruhnke. It brought alot of shock & sadness into my life...especially with that happening and then 2 months later filing for divorce and having to go thru that and knowing that Chris would have been there for me if he was around. Not a day goes by I don't think once of Chris. What a great friend he was. As 2O11 continues and May gets closer and closer, it is so hard to believe it has almost been a year that he has been gone. 2O11 has also brought fantastic news though, my beautiful best friend Jordan is pregnant and having her first child :) I cannot wait to see the baby & she will be a fantastic mother. Not much else to say about 2O1O...and not much to say about 2O11 as it has just started.
